Following are some examples of our print prices based on the standard fine art papers we stock. Luster prints are economical and show brilliant colors. The Epson Hotpress paper is recommended for fine art gicleés and for the highest quality photo prints the Photo Rag Baryta is hard to beat. We can print in various formats and on different media by special arrangement, as detailed below. Ask us about quantity discounts for larger orders.
Many Choices of Media
Our standard Fine Art Prints are made on Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper, ranking at the top for quality. We are not alone in our appreciation for this paper, for it is the choice of legendary photographic artist Art Wolfe for his open edition prints. We can also make your prints on a variety of other papers and in other formats through special arrangement.
Our standard gallery or museum quality gicleé prints are made on 100% cotton rag Epson Hotpress Bright paper. This is an acid-free fine art paper ideal for reproduction of paintings and drawings.
Our top line photo prints are made on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta. This excellent paper can also be used for gicleé prints if a glossier look is desired. By arrangement we can also provide other options such as watercolor paper and other fine art media. All of these papers in combination with eight colors of pigment ink produce brilliant color and excellent archival qualities.
We also offer canvas prints made on Epson Glossy Exhibition Archival Canvas at the same base prices as listed for the Hot Press paper, available in sizes made from 24, 36 or 44 inch rolls.
Metallic Fine Art prints can also be provided on Epson Glossy Metallic paper to give images a striking effect without the high cost of printing on actual metal sheets. Cotton rag metallic paper from Hahnemuhle is also available at the prices listed for the Photo Rag Baryta.
Fine Art Notecards
Many artists and photographers benefit from sales of fine art notecards, and Moab Printworks is your ideal source for top quality cards. These cards typically retail for $5 or $6. We can provide cards in several sizes including A2, A6 and A7 plus panoramic cards. Each is carefully printed using 8 pigment ink colors. No bleeds are available. For a $15 setup charge we will set up text to appear on the back side, including title, artist information and even a logo. Pricing for each unique card design including envelopes is $1.50 each for 50 or fewer, $1.35 each for 51-99 and $1.25 each for 100 or more.
Scanning and Digital Copying
We have a high-quality Epson flatbed scanner that can handle both flat art and transparencies up to 9×12 inches. For larger flat art we use a 46 MP Nikon camera to create digital files. Our basic scan or digital copy priced at $4 yields a 600 dpi file in 16 bits, with basic color correction only. Reproduction quality files including cleaning, spotting, color correction and minor retouching are priced at $15. Additional post processing services are billed at $60 per hour.
